We’re pleased, well actually very relieved to get our to a second beta release.
*UPDATED* Hi everyone that participated in the comments. Good news, this is now turned on for your accounts. Simply go into Settings -> Apps & Integrations and you’ll find the link-through there.
Whilst we’ve always had basic CSV and Qif import/export integration with Quickbooks CRM, this deep integration means no annoying download and uploading of files. Both applications just talk to each other to share data directly. To be honest with everyone, the entire process took four times longer than it ever should and at times we were all just banging our heads against the wall. But it’s done now and a core group of people have been using the original beta for well over 6 months. So…. let’s get on with the job of getting the full release across the line now!
Quickbooks Online plus WORK[etc]
This integration lets you electronically pass invoices and contacts created in WORK[etc] across to Quickbooks. The video below best describes the integration:
With the original beta it was “uncertified” by Intuit meaning it was in development-only and as such we could only ever allow 10 companies onto the beta. A few of these accounts dropped off the program and we quickly replaced them with the next company in the queue. What we are working toward now on the Intuit Partner Platform (IPP) is our listing on the Intuit App Center which once published makes the integration available to everyone.
Want in on the beta?
So, with this second release we’re now properly certified, having passed all Intuits security and functionality reviews. This means we have room for another 50 accounts to join the beta.
