Mobile Updates & Inc. Magazine (online) Article

Just a quick update…

  • Android users would have already noticed a few updates over the weekend.  These were all related to performance, speed.  The iPhone version with similar updates is currently being reviewed by iTunes and should be available toward the end of the week (although we’d likely have more updates on this by then!)
  • We’re currently coding the “Groups, Roles and Granular Permissions” which is massive, along with new web forms and new search (related to both search and Sales/CRM revision).

Is anyone interested in specific details on the above?  Let me know and I’ll post our mockups and the interesting parts of the scope.

Inc. Magazine

So one of the comments I hear all the time goes something like this:

WORK[etc] is [amazing] [changed our business] [get’s-me-home-at-night] [made-my-team-more-productive] [etc etc], but how come we’ve never heard of you before?

The answer is that we’ve been so focused on improving the product and helping customers that PR has always taken a bit of a back seat.

But it is exciting to see that maybe, just maybe, the quality of our product is starting to push through and generate its own PR.  For example, we just received a fantastic, concise review of our Gmail for G Suite gadget in Inc. Magazine Online.

What would be truly awesome is if some “WORK[etc]-ers” could re-tweet the article and write a short comment on the article.  Let Inc. Magazine know that when they write about WORK[etc], they get traffic!

Every Minute Counts: 3 Ways Time Tracking Helps Your Bottom Line

Five minutes. That’s how long I spend on my email inbox at the start of my day, every day. I used to get easily distracted, sometimes spending upwards of half an hour just going through my email. And by “going through” I do mean just reading them. No replying, no creating tasks. It was a […]

Don’t Use a Driver When You’re in a Sand Trap: Boosting Growth with Automated Tags

Small business marketing is a bit like golf. You don’t use a driver for every single stroke. Yeah, you might luck out and get a hole in one, but it’s more likely you’ll end up spending way too much effort for too little return. What matters is that you identify exactly which club best fits […]

Still Using Spreadsheets? Here’s Why It’s Time to Graduate to a CRM

One of the most mind-blowing conversations I’ve ever had was with a potential client whose support team used spreadsheets to track everything. They had one guy list down every support ticket and conversation he had during the day, and then another person would add those daily lists to one big spreadsheet. That left me speechless […]
