WORKetc Crowned ICT Business of the Year at Optus My Business Awards 2016

Winners of the prestigious and long-standing awards represent the best of the best. This year, WORKetc joined their ranks.

The Optus My Business Awards is the longest-standing business awards program in Australia. Every year, it identifies and acknowledges the achievements of the country’s best businesses.

Winners of these prestigious awards represent the best of the best. This year, WORKetc joined their ranks by winning the award for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Business of the Year.

WORKetc Wins Optus My Business Awards ICT Business of the Year

WORKetc won out against more than 200 initial entrants and 8 finalists by successfully innovating across product, sales, service, and delivery.

“Being nominated as a finalist in the Optus My Business Awards 2016 was a very welcome surprise that fired up all of us at WORKetc,” said WORKetc CEO and founder Daniel Barnett, who was on hand to receive the award.

“Actually winning the ICT Business of the Year Award just further reinforces our commitment to continue helping small businesses do better — not just in Australia but all around the world.

“I also want to recognize and congratulate all the entrepreneurs and business owners who had the guts, courage, and sheer force of will to get out there and start something up. Every one of you should be getting an award.”

The award, which, according to the judges, recognized WORKetc’s “admirable passion and drive in the ICT sector”, was presented on Friday, November 18, at Sydney’s Four Points by Sheraton hotel.
